IGNOU Opens Applications for 102 Junior Assistant-cum-Typist and Stenographer Posts

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications for 102 Junior Assistant–cum Typist and Stenographer positions across India. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from December 1st to December 26th, 2023, by 11:59 PM.

IGNOU Recruitment 2023 Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Assistant–cum Typist (JAT)
   • Total Posts: 50 (UR -19, SC -08, ST -04, OBC-14, EWS -05)
   • Educational Qualification:
     • 10+2 or equivalent
     • Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer
     • Desirable: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
   • Age Limit: 18-27 years
   • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per the rules.
   • Pay Scale: Level -02 of 7th CPC Rs. 19900-63200/-
2. Stenographer
   • Total Posts: 52 (UR – 23, SC -07, ST -03, OBC-14, EWS -05)
   • Educational Qualification:
     • 10+2 or equivalent
     • Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer and
     • Shorthand Test @ 80 w.p.m.
     • Desirable:
       • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
       • Knowledge of Computers.
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years
   • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per the rules.
   • Pay Scale: Level – 04 ot 7th CPC Rs. 25500-81100/-
