Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Medha Scholarship Scheme 2022

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has implemented Mukhyamantri Medha Scholarship Scheme Jharkhand to expand education in the state. Under this scheme, scholarships will be provided to the students of class 9th to 12th studying in various schools run in Jharkhand. An amount of 12 thousand will be given annually to the meritorious students of the state. Under the scholarship scheme, 5000 students studying in government and aided secondary schools of Jharkhand state will be selected.

Students will be selected on the basis of competitive examination under Jharkhand Chief Minister Merit Scholarship Scheme. 400 students from each district will be selected on the basis of a competitive examination. Class 8th pass students will appear in the examination to be conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council, Jack Board. It will be necessary for the students of class 9th to 12th to score 60% marks every year in the competitive examination.

For the first time 3889 student selected for scholarship scheme

The result of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Medha Scholarship Scheme was released online on Tuesday. Releasing the results, Education Minister Jagannath Mahato congratulated all the successful candidates at the Jharkhand Academic Council office. For the first time 3889 students of the state have been selected for this scholarship scheme. While 85000 students had taken the exam to take advantage of this scheme.

Through the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Medha Scholarship Scheme, students will get financial assistance for further studies. Which students will start getting from class 9 only for the next 4 years. An amount of Rs 12 thousand will be given to the successful candidates under this scheme every year.

Objective of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Medha Scholarship Scheme

The main objective of starting the Chief Minister Medha Scholarship Scheme Jharkhand by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, is to provide an amount of Rs. 12000 per year as financial assistance to the meritorious students of the state. So that children can get financial help for further studies.

Through this scheme, 5000 students will be selected and on the basis of competitive examination, 400 students will be selected from each district. After which the selected students will be provided scholarship by the state government from class 9th to 12th i.e. for 4 years. Due to which the future of the children of the state will be bright and children will be encouraged to get education.

Selection Process for Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Medha Scholarship Scheme

• Under the Chief Minister Medha Scholarship Scheme Jharkhand, the scholarship exam to be conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council, Jack Board will be taken in 2 sections.
• Each section of the exam will be 90 minutes.
• In the first section there will be a test of intellectual ability. In which 90 questions will be asked by the students. There will be questions related to Reasoning, English and Hindi.
• In the second section, there will be a test of educational qualification. In which questions of Science, Social Science and Mathematics will be asked which will be of 30-30 per subject. This exam will also be of 90 questions.
• Students will be given one and a half hours’ time for both the sections.
• The level of scholarship test will be done on the basis of syllabus of class 7th and 8th.
• To get scholarship for selection for scholarship, it will be mandatory for students to score minimum 40-40% in both sections and 60% in total.
• It is mandatory for SC/ST girl students to score minimum 35% marks in each section.
• After the examination, a total of 5000 students will be selected for scholarship at the state level instead of district and block level.

• Medha Scholarship Scheme has been implemented to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students of the state.
