The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a recruitment drive for 6160 apprenticeship positions across various locations in India. These apprenticeships are in line with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, which reflects SBI’s commitment to developing a skilled workforce to meet the evolving demands of the banking sector.
The recruitment process begins on September 1, 2023, and closes on September 21, 2023. It’s important to note that the application fee differs for different categories of candidates. SC/ST/PWD applicants are exempt from paying any application fee, while General/EWS/OBC candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 300/-.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these apprenticeships, candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline. Additionally, as of August 1, 2023, applicants should be between 20 and 28 years old. Age relaxation benefits are applicable as per government guidelines for certain categories.
