Odisha B.Ed., B.H.Ed., and M.Ed. Entrance Test-2024; Check Details

The Government of Odisha’s Higher Education Department has announced the admission process for the 2024-25 academic session for two-year B.Ed., B.H.Ed., and M.Ed. courses. Admissions will be conducted through an entrance examination under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS).

Important Dates

Participating Universities and Institutions

• Utkal University, Bhubaneswar: Two-year B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses.
• DAV College of Teacher Education (DAV CTE), Koraput: Two-year B.Ed. program.
• Dr. Parsuram Mishra Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (Dr. PM IASE), Sambalpur: Two-year M.Ed. program.
• Nabakrushna Choudhury College of Teacher Education (NKC CTE), Angul: M.Ed. program.

Admission Rounds

• The admission process includes two phases: Phase-I and Phase-II (waiting list).
• Phase-I consists of four rounds of selection, with de-reservation of seats in the final round.
• Applicants who take admission during Phase-I are not eligible for Phase-II or waiting list rounds.

Consent for Slide-Up

• Applicants can consent to participate in subsequent rounds for higher preference institutions, except if selected for their first choice.

Document Submission

• Applicants must upload Residence, Income, and Caste Certificates while filling out the Common Application Form (CAF).
• Certificates can be uploaded during graduation marks updation if not done initially.

Online Admission Fee Payment

• Admission fees for B.Ed., M.Ed., and B.H.Ed. courses will be collected online.

How to Apply for Odisha B.Ed., B.H.Ed., and M.Ed. Online Form 2024

1. Visit SAMS Odisha and click on “New Student Registration”.
2. Fill in the required details in the online Common Application Form (CAF).
3. Upload your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the guidelines in the Information Brochure.
4. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
5. Verify the details in the CAF and click “Submit”.
6. Print the submitted CAF for future reference.
