A fake notification circulated various websites and social media platforms, falsely stated that the RPF was inviting applications for 4,660 vacancies, including 452 Sub-Inspector (SI) posts and 4,208 constable positions.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) clarified that the job advertisement is fake and condemned the misinformation spread.
According to the fraudulent notice, applications were supposed to be accepted online from April 15 to May 14.
PIB strongly condemned the spread of this misleading information and emphasized that no such job notification has been issued by the Ministry of Railways. People are urged not to share personal or financial information in response to such false advertisements.
