India Post will reopen online registration for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the North East Division on June 16, 2023. The last date to apply is June 23, 2023.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up 4384 vacancies in the following circles:
- Meghalaya
- Sikkim
- Tripura
- Manipur
Eligible candidates must have the following:
- Age between 18 and 40 years as of June 11, 2023.
- Passed 10th standard with Mathematics and English as compulsory or elective subjects.
- Knowledge of computer, cycling, and adequate means of livelihood.
Applicants must pay a fee of Rs 100. However, there is no fee for female applicants, SC/ST applicants, PwD applicants, and Transwomen applicants.
The application process will be conducted online through the India Post website. Applicants can apply by visiting the website and clicking on the “GDS Recruitment” link.
The list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the India Post website after the completion of the application process.
