Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to send photos in their original resolution.
According to WABetaInfo, the platform intends to include a new settings icon within the drawing tool header that will allow users to customise the quality of any photo.
The new feature will give users more control over the quality of photos they send, especially when the photo must be sent in its original resolution.
According to the report, the ability to send photos in their original quality is currently in development and will be released in a future update.
Also, it was reported on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, that the messaging platform was rolling out a new ‘voice status updates’ feature on Android beta, which will allow users to share voice notes via status updates.
The company also gives users more control over their voice recordings by allowing them to delete a recording before sharing it.
