Tata Steel AEP Recruitment Notification 2024 – Apply Online

Tata Steel has announced the recruitment notification for the Aspiring Engineers Program (AEP) on 14th August 2024. Interested candidates can apply online until 4th September 2024.

Tata Steel invites applications from interested candidates for the position of Engineer Trainee in various disciplines, including Mining, Mineral, Electrical, Mechanical, Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, and Geoinformatics for Raw Material locations of Tata Steel.

Tata Steel Aspiring Engineers Program Recruitment 2024

Program Details

• Selected candidates will be placed as Engineer Trainees for a duration of 1 year.
• Regular evaluations will be conducted during the training period.
• Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be considered for full-time employment as Assistant Manager (IL6) at Tata Steel.

Qualification Details

• Candidates who have completed a three-year diploma and directly joined the 2nd year of engineering and are in the final year of BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engg) (batch 2024) are eligible to apply.
• For General Candidates: A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 65% in BE/ B Tech/ B Sc (Engg)/ M Tech/ M.Sc is required.
• For Transgender, PWD, SC/ST Candidates: A minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 60% in BE/ B Tech/ B Sc (Engg)/ M Tech/ M.Sc is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are domiciles of Jharkhand and Odisha.

Age Limit

• General Candidates: Not more than 30 years as of the last date of the advertisement.
• Transgender, PWD, SC/ST Candidates: Not more than 32 years as of the last date of the advertisement.

Emoluments

• Engineer Trainees will receive an all-inclusive stipend of INR 30,000/- per month during the 1-year training period.
• Upon successful completion of the training, the CTC will be INR 7 Lakhs per annum along with additional perks and benefits.

Evaluation Process

• Eligible candidates will undergo an online functional domain test followed by a behavioral assessment.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, which may be conducted either in person or virtually.
